The high ceilings of cathedrals bridge the heavens and the Earth. Our prayers are amplified in these sacred spaces, bringing us closer to spirit. The Cathedral of Consciousness was an 8 month long project started back in 2013, before I had any idea of what kind of art I wanted to create, I would spend hours and hours modeling this immense virtual space. Everything in this scene is modeled and textured by me - no assets, no prebuilds, just me and an educational version of Maya, over countless hours completely sucked into the process of building a cathedral dedicated to consciousness itself.
